There were no direct flights from Kuching to my next destination, Cambodia so I came back to KL for an overnight before carrying on to Phnom Penh.
I stayed at a B&B in Salik Tinggi - one stop on the fast train from the airport.
The house is owned by an English person and it is interesting to see the sort of dwelling that ex pats can get here. In two words, very nice. A detached modern house with pool, set in a neghborhood of similar.
There is a lot of development going on, presumably thanks to the railway station that is connected by the fast train to KL Sentral.
The only blot on the landscape would seem to be the ticket prices that I noted were going up from 35 to 55 ringit one way on 1 January 2016 . Quite a hike!!
