Thursday 26 November. Petronas Towers.

The Petronas Towers are something of an icon for KL and an obvious walking destination. The walk there felt slightly less car-hassled than yesterday's and once I got there,I found the very pleasant park next to the towers. Unfortunately this was partly closed for some restoration work but it is still a nice oasis in the many towers.

It included a bird partial to corn on the cob!

I took plenty of photos with both clear skies and cloud and then it started to rain!

I went into the shopping centre which proved to be the home of the labels. All the usual suspects from Gucci to Prada! Rain ceased,

I walked passed the Malaysia Tourist Office and popped in to see what they had. In fact they offer a wealth of useful literature - one leaflet on each region and so I picked up those relevant to my travels.

That was about it for this birthday boxing day to be honest, I'd felt pretty knackered and had an easy evening and earlyish night.
